The San Jorge University is one of the five centers created by the San Valero Foundation, a nonprofit Diocesan Work that began its educational activity in 1953.

The mission of all the entities that are part of the San Valero Group is to contribute to the sustainable development of society through an integral formation based on Christian values that enables people to face professional challenges in line with the needs of the environment.

San Jorge University is defined as an institution of higher education university, private regime, inspired by the values ​​of Christian humanism, non-profit, with the highest degree of autonomy granted by the legislation in force in the university system of the Spanish State .
